National Cyclo-cross Championships 2023 is going to be held on 14-15 January 2023 at Westmorland County Showground, news released by British Cycling in The News-Times UK.
Cyclo-cross is an exciting event where a rider has to go through wooded trails, steep hills, and other hurdles. This is one of the reasons why this sport is gaining huge popularity among the masses.
Dave Haygarth (an organizer of the national championship), and a rider (for the Staveley-based Wheelbase squad) said that they are excited and feel honored going forward into the National Cyclo-cross Championships.
“I spend the early days of my life in Heversham which is almost 3KM from there, though I’m in Manchester right now, I still feel it like a home race. The venue is absolutely sensational for all kinds of conditions and for scintillating racing we can work on the most challenging course. We are preparing ourselves and feeling as high as a kite.”
We have witnessed Cyclo-cross grow from an ordinary sport to a really big game – in connection with bike sales and racing contestants, said Toby Dalton (director of Wheelbase Cycles).
Definitely, it would be loved by parents too as they will be able to support the young kids, and at some locations, they will be able to enjoy the whole course lap.

It is beyond belief watching cyclo-cross developing recently in Britain, said Dani Every. Fans were able to celebrate 13 podium finishes in the last six world championships, he further adds.
