as part of its nationwide expansion strategy.
However, due to the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly the Iran–US conflict, which triggered a significant fuel shortage in Pakistan, the PCB was forced to revise its operational plans.
As a result, to minimize travel, logistical challenges, and fuel consumption, the tournament has been restricted to only two venues:
- Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
- National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi
All matches of PSL 11 are now being played exclusively in these two cities under controlled conditions.
This strategic decision ensures the smooth continuation of the tournament while aligning with national measures aimed at conserving fuel and maintaining operational efficiency during the crisis.
