Pakistan Resumed 1st Innings on Day 2 Against South Africa 1st Test Match

[Score Update: Pakistan 115-4] Pakistan has started their 1st innings from 33/4 on day 2 against South Africa in the 1st test match at National Stadium Karachi. Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam are playing on 16* and 10* respectively.

Day 1 of the 1st test belongs to the bowlers as a total of 14 wickets were down on the 1st day. South Africa who had won the toss and elected to bat first was in trouble. They were all out on just 220 runs in 69.2 overs.

Dean Elgar was the top scorer of the 1st innings of South Africa. He made 58 runs on 106 balls with the help of 9 boundaries. Faf du Plessis made 23 whereas George Linde was able to make 35 runs on 64 balls.

None other players make a reasonable total and they were looking uncomfortable against Yasir Shah and Nauman Ali. Yasir Shah took 3 wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Nauman Ali got 2 wickets each. Whereas, Hassan Ali got only 1 wicket and two batsmen were run out.

When Pakistan started their 1st innings, it was expected that they will get home advantage. But Pakistani batters were also in hot waters as they lost 4 early wickets in just 18 overs.

The most important wicket of Pakistani Captain, Babar Azam falls when only 3 overs were left in the day. After that, the night watchman Shaheen Shah Afridi also gone without making a run. He faced only 4 balls.

Now, the Pakistan team is expecting to come back with the help of Fawad Alam and Azhar Ali. Both are experienced batsman, Azhar Ali is the senior, while Fawad Alam has a lot of experience of domestic cricket.
