Naseem Abbas Shah is a Pakistani cricketer who competes internationally. He was born on February 15, 2003. He bowls fast and is a regular member of the playing eleven across all versions of the game.
His father, Abbas Shah, was not in favor of his desire to play cricket and would have preferred it if he had focused on his education instead. In 2019, his mother passed away just one day before he made his debut in a test match at the young age of 16.
Naseem Shah was honored with the promotion to the honorary post in the Baluchistan Police of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in February 2023. The promotion took place in Quetta, in the presence of high-ranking officials.
Naseem started his professional career at the age of 13 as his uncle registered him in the cricket academy of Abdul Qadir in Lahore. There, he was going to be instructed by Sulaman Qadir.
At the very young age of 13, Naseem was picked for the Under-16 team of Lahore, and at the age of 14, he was picked for the Under-16 team of Pakistan. Naseem had previously played tape-ball tennis for some time in Lower Dir.
He was given a spot in Pakistan’s Test team in 2019 October for their upcoming series versus Australia. On 21st November 2019, he made his first appearance for Pakistan in a Test match versus Australia.
In the first Test match he played versus Bangladesh on February 9, 2020, at the young age of 16 years, 359 days, he had become the youngest fast bowler to ever take a hat-trick in a Test match. A central contract with the PCB was bestowed upon him in May of 2020, just in time for the 2020–2021 seasons.

Naseem Shah PSL Career
Naseem Abbas Shah commonly known as Naseem Shah started his PSL career from the Quetta Gladiators side in the 2019 edition. Quetta Gladiators won that edition in 2019 but Naseem Shah was not in that playing XI. Since then Naseem Shah is a regular part of Quetta Gladiators.
In only his second Test match, he established himself as the youngest quick bowler in the entire history of the test series by picking up a five-wicket haul. This achievement took place in Karachi versus Sri Lanka. After that, he is the main attacking bowler of Quetta Gladiators.

Naseem Shah was picked by Quetta Gladiators in 2018 for the PSL season of 2019 but he was not given a chance in any match in that season. Quetta Gladiator also won that PSL edition.
Since 2019, Naseem Shah is part of Quetta Gladiators and is one of few players who have not changed the side. Now Naseem Shah is the attacking bowler of Quetta Gladiators.

The strike rate of Naseem Shah in bowling is 23.57 and the best performance in bowling is 5 wickets for 26 runs which is very good in T20 cricket.

Naseem Shah Batting Stats in PSL
Because Naseem Shah is a typical fast bowler so has not had good stats in batting in PSL but he can hit the ball out of the ground. His one example is a match between Afghanistan and Pakistan in the Asia Cup on September 7, 2022. He hit two big sixes in the final over and Pakistan won that match.
In PSL he batted in 8 innings during 29 match appearances and scored only 17 runs. His highest scores are 17 and his batting average in PSL is 2.83.

In the last season of PSL that was held in 2023, Naseem Shah was part of Quetta Gladiators. His side could not play well in this edition and his performance was not also as good.
He played 9 matches and took only 7 wickets in PSL 8. He gave 260 runs with a bowling average of 37.14 and his best bowling performance was 2 wickets for 31 runs.
