India Loses Ajinkya Rahane Early On Day 3 Against Australia

India lost their 3rd wicket early on day 3 when Ajinkya Rahane was cleaned bowled by Pat Cummins. The back of the length ball took the bottom edge of the bat and hits the stumps.

Ajinkya Rahane who is an experienced batsman of team India has made 22 runs on 70 balls. He hits 1 six and 1 boundary in this innings. The total score was 117 for 3 when he got out.

Earlier this day, Pujara and Rahane started their innings from 96 for 2 and both batsmen were looking comfortable. But an unexpected delivery bowled out Rahane.

In the first innings of Australia, they all out at a total of 338 runs on day 2. Steven Smith scored a brilliant century on day 2 and he was the last batsman who got out on a direct throw of Jadeja.

Smith made 131 runs with the help of 16 boundaries and he consumed 226 balls for this score. Marnus Labuschagne who was looking good on day 2, couldn’t make his century. He was caught in the slip when he was at 91 individual scores.

Session 1 of day 3 is in progress and at the moment the total score of team India is 138-3. India is still 200 runs behind but the way the wicket is playing, it looks that they could make a decent total and it will be a draw match.
