(Pakistan Super League 6 2021) — Match 5 of HBL PSL 6 was played between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi at National Stadium Karachi. Peshawar Zalmi has won the toss and elected to field first.

While batting first, Multan Sultans put a good fighting total on the scorecard as they made 193 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Rizwan provided a good start to the team with his 41 runs on 28 balls.

James Vince also joined him after 1st wicket fall and he made brilliant 84 runs on 55 balls. In his innings, he hit 3 sixes and 9 fours.

Sohaib Maqsood also played good and he made 36 runs on 21 balls. In the last 5 overs of the innings, Multan Sultans made a total of 54 runs.

Peshawar Zalmi started the chase and Kamran Akmal provided a good opening stand along with the left-handed Imam ul Haq. He made 37 runs on 24 balls and got out at the total score of 57 in 6.3 overs.

Then Tom Kohler-Cadmore joined Imam and both made a good partnership. Slow and steady they maintain the good strike rate and bring the total to 134 at the end of 15th over.

Here the second wicket goes down when Imam got out on his individual total of 48 runs on 39 balls. Some good batting skills from Tom Kohler-Cadmore and power-hitting in the 2nd last over from Shoaib Malik and especially Haider Ali, helped Peshawar Zalmi to win the match by 6 wickets and 6 balls remaining.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore declared as the player of the match as he provides good support to the team and made important runs in the middle order. He made 53 runs on 32 balls.
